Get started

1. Click the ClipStack icon in the macOS menu bar.
2. Allow Screen Recording access in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording.
3. Click Capture Now or press Option–Command–4, then select a region.
4. Repeat to add more screenshots. They are placed on the clipboard in capture order.

Common fixes

• Capture does not start: confirm that ClipStack is enabled under Screen Recording in System Settings, then relaunch ClipStack.
• The stack disappeared: another app changed the clipboard. ClipStack clears its stack to avoid overwriting that new clipboard content.
• The menu bar icon is missing: check the menu bar's Control Center or relaunch the app from Applications.
